Who are we?

We are brazilian tardigrades hunters. TardiLab was created at 08/01/2016 and is formed primarily with undergraduate students of Biological Sciences from Universidade Positivo. Our research focus is systematic and distribution of tardigrades, specially on tardigrades fauna from Brazil.

Tardigrade species composition in Atlantic Rain Forest

The Atlantic Rain Forest presents one of the greatest species richness as well as high levels of plant and animal. This biome is among the eight most important hotspots for biodiversity conservation. In this way, it is fundamental to know the tardigrades species in this important brazilian biome.

Tardigrade species composition in South Atlantic Ocean

Brazil has about 1250 km of litoral in the south region, that comprehend sandy and rocky beaches. So, there are many opportunities to research on species of tardigrades in brazilian south Atlantic waters.
